Store Manager — Help

Last updated: August 2026

The Store Manager controls everything about your store itself — as opposed to individual products. Open it from the Store Manager button in the sidebar.

Categories and product types

Shipping settings

Your pickup address, contact details, and GSTIN. Shipping settings lock after you save them the first time — couriers register against that exact address, so changing it later isn’t self-service. If you need to move your pickup location, contact us. Your GSTIN is the one field that stays editable after the initial save.

Checkout: going live for real orders

A new store is visible to buyers right away, but checkout stays off until:

  1. ShopDhoom reviews and approves your store (admin-side, usually within 24 hours of creation), and
  2. You turn on the Checkout toggle here in the Store Manager.

Both have to be true — if ShopDhoom’s approval isn’t in yet, your own toggle won’t do anything until it is. Once both are on, buyers can complete real, paid orders. Toggling checkout doesn’t require a rebuild — it takes effect immediately.

Add-on discount (optional, you control it)

Turn on a per-category discount where the 2nd unit onward of the same category gets a percentage off that you choose, per category — a way to encourage buyers to add more to their cart. It’s off by default, and entirely funded by you (unlike the platform’s free-delivery perk, which ShopDhoom absorbs, not you).

Banking details

Your bank account (account holder name, account number, IFSC) for manual payouts — ShopDhoom pays out via NEFT/IFSC transfer directly, not an automated payout system. These details are private: they’re never included in your public store data, and only ShopDhoom’s admin can see them for processing your payout.

Publishing your changes

Most Store Manager changes (name, description, categories, shipping settings) save immediately but need a Deploy to appear on your live storefront — see the Deployment guide. Checkout and add-on discount toggles are the exception: those take effect instantly, no deploy needed.
